S2FL: The Best & Worst, All-Time

bestandworst.jpg

Football… and even moreso, Fantasy Football… can be a fickle bitch.  Sometimes you’re on top of the world and performing lights-out like the 2007 Patriots, and other times you just can’t seem to get anything going like the 2008 Detroit Lions.  Our league has seen a lot of incredible performances over the years, and a few absolutely horrible ones.  As we continue this league, history will keep becoming more and more prevalent, and I’ve put together a list of the All-Time Best & Worst Weeks and Seasons in Skoli’s II Football League history.  These are just for fun, but hopefully in the future we can build some healthy competition as people fight to be ON a couple of these lists, and OFF the others.  I’ve also left out our awkward, inaugural season experiment, as scoring was MUCH different back then (A separate Special Teams position!?).  So, these records are from 2013 forward.

Without further ado, here are the S2FL’s Best & Worst Performances:

A few interesting takeaways from these lists:

Despite having two of the five worst weeks, all-time, this season AND posting the 2nd-lowest scoring season in league history, Jason is STILL playing for the league championship this week.  That’s winning when you need to right there, folks!

Scoring low will probably get you the Lutefisk.  #1 and #3 on the list of lowest season totals are Brittney’s 2015 Lutefisk season and Jeff’s 2014 Lutefisk season.

Kyle, Stacy & Jake know how to score points in bunches!  They are the only league owners who have two different seasons listed in the 10 Best Season Point Totals.  Kyle in particular has put together the 2nd (2013 Hash Oilers) and 3rd (2015 Hash Oilers) best seasons ever, as far as points are concerned.

Call him the MiddleMan.  Al is the only current owner in the league who does not find himself on any of the best or worst lists.  I guess you can say he’s been consistently… average.

In 2016 I will start transitioning this website from a blog to a full-fledged league site.  When that happens there will be a whole section of the website dedicated to the history of the league.  I can’t wait to see what new history will be made next year, and every one going forward!
